Algorfa

Algorfa is a small town located in the heart of the Veja Baja community in Costa Blanca. The town is surrounded by citrus farms and is close to the banks of the Rio Del Segura that runs from the mountains down the coastal resort of Guardamar Del Segura which is 15 kilometres from Algorfa. Whilst sitting in an inland location, Algorfa has a reputation as being one of the most sought after destinations for ex pats looking to buy a property away from the coast and has a reputation for offering value for money as well as offering many things to do. Alicante airport is just a 30 minute drive up the AP7 motorway and San Javier Murcia airport just a 40 minute drive. There are two churches in the town, one in the main square and a church on the outskirts of the town which was built in the early 19^th century – the church is well worth a visit and makes up part of the spectacular sunsets along with the mountain backdrop from many properties in Algorfa throughout the year. As well as the main town there are urbanisations and commercial centres at La Finca Golf, Montebello, Montemar and Lo Crispin – each area is very popular and offers a wide array of properties for people to choose from.
